100 things about me, the non sexual list

 
1)I’m an avid cross stitcher

2)I’m an eclectic pagan

3)I adore cross word puzzles

4)I love words in general

5)I like to think I’m fluent in English

6)I used to be a funeral director

7)I also used to work in an Italian bakery

8)If my grandparents hadn’t sold the bakery, I would have taken over running it.

9)I’m considered very intimidating

10)Yet, I’m sort of scared of big groups of people

11)I take Celexa and Seroquel

12)The Celexa is for my OCD, slight mania, anxiety, and depression

13)The Seroquel is for the slight depersonalization I sometimes experience

14)I’ve had those issues since I was 10, but only started treatment recently 

15)Additionally, I take acidophilus, calcium (with magnesium and vitamin d), and a a multivitamin.

16)I have an RX for Xanax, which I don’t use often.

17)I really really like weed.

18)I have pet rats, and I love them to distraction.

19)Though, I’m more partial to the boys. Don’t tell the girls that.

20)I collect Tarot cards

21)I have more decks than most stores keep in stock.

22)When I do Tarot readings, I currently exclusively use the ‘traditional’ Rider Waite deck, despite its heavy judeo-christian imagery.

23)Despite no longer being in the funeral business, I still consider Anubis one of my patron deities.

24)I like hair mousse way too much.

25)I speak no languages aside from English

26)But all the ones I want to learn are useless anyway

27)I adore peanut butter, especially mixed with chocolate

28)However, my best friend is deathly allergic to peanuts.

29)I’m really really fond of meat.

30)Except for seafood, which I eat rarely to never

31)Yet, I love Japanese food.

32)I’m friends with all of my ex-boyfriends, except for one.

33)I almost always wear make up.

34)I was raised Roman Catholic, but I never believed the teachings of the church

35)However, when I was in 8th grade, I taught Sunday School.

36)I used to be all gothic and stuff

37)And I still am, at heart.

38)I did not like ‘The Catcher in the Rye’

39)I also have an irrational hatred of ‘Moby Dick’

40)I LOVE Clove. Cigarettes, gum, lotion, essential oil, soap, if its made out of clove, I bloody well want it.  Particularly the soaps, lotions, and oils, because I like to smell like clove if I can.

41)I used to be a pretty bad self-injurer, for more than 10 years.

42)I’m somewhat superstitious, at weird times.

43)I take after my mother’s cleaning skills, except that I don’t vacuum plants.

44)I watch more TV than I like to think I do.

45)I adore historical romance novels

46)I also am infatuated with Anne Bishop’s Black Jewel Trilogy and its universe.

47)And Harry Potter

48)I like to read. A lot.

49)I’m partial to non-fiction on odd subjects

50)I wish I could play the piano better than I do.

51)I make my bed every single day.

52)Very little grosses me out

53)Except for mouth and nose stuff.  They gross me out.

54)And killing bugs. I still scream like a girl when I see bugs.

55)I’m skittish and easily spooked.

56)I carry pepper spray all the time, and only used it once

57)Where I accidentally sprayed myself in the face. It hurt.

58)I spent three years of high-school and college where I almost never wore pants, just skirts

59)That same period of time, I almost never wore flat shoes, only heels 2.5 inches or up.

60)Except for late night diner runs with friends on Long Island. Then I wore PJ’s.

61)I was way more excited about prom than I wanted to admit.

62)However, I was rather disappointed in it after the fact.

63)I’m much more of a hopeless romantic than I’d like to admit. 

64)I have low end hearing loss, which means I have trouble hearing sounds that are low or deep.

65)I had surgery to remove pre-cancerous cells from my cervix. I might have to do it again.

66)My favourite type of Soda is ginger ale. I like to try all sorts of different varieties.

67)I have a bad habit of interrupting people

68)Mostly, because I have racing thoughts. Conversations with me can get very convoluded and off track very quickly. However, I’m told it can be entertaining.

69)I secretly enjoy going to the laundrette to do laundry

70)I have a weird memory for details.

71)I like true crime stuff, the more gruesome, the better.

72)I have a favourite serial killer (Ed Gein)

73)I’m passionate about stopping the over use of antibiotics and antibacterial products, due to their misuse which is a prime factor in creating drug resistant strains of bacteria

74)I’m also passionate about vaccination.

75)Basically, I have a strong interest in public health on the disease prevention front.

76)I have a very massive crush on Mika. There is a part of me, albiet very small, convinced that one day I’ll get to go out with him, at least once. Here’s to hope!

77)I own shoes I have never worn, and that sort of bothers me.

78)I really enjoy taking baths. The only thing I dislike about my apartment is that I don’t have a bathtub.

79)I used to fence in high school

80)I was also on the chess team in middle school.

81)I miss playing chess. I haven’t played in ages, and I just got a nice chess set to use.

82)I like to to all sorts of crafts. I love to make stuff.

83)I have weak ankles, which I have a tendency to sprain.

84)I dislike most of my mother’s family, and drink heavily when I have to deal with them.

85)I have a bad habit of borrowing clothing from my younger sister, and not returning it.

86)I’m not a natural redhead

87)I’m pretty sure tea helps with everything.

88)I no longer drive, and I plan to never drive a car again if I can help it.

89)I can deal with almost any medical procedure with out a problem, but I despise the dentist.

90)I miss having my nipples pierced.

91)I used to donate blood all the time, however, now I’m considered too high risk for them to take blood from. 

92)I never lie to anyone providing me with medical serivce. My doctor knows everything I do.

93)I can type at least 65wpm, and I don’t need to look at the keyboard.  The only computer games we had when I was a kid were Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and Chessmaster 300. I learned some skills.

94)I believe everyone should learn basic library research skills. You’d be amazed at how little people know about their local library

95)Obviously, I used to work in a library

96)I almost never wear a bra. I feel that bras are unhealthy, uncomfortable, and pointless. The only time I wear bra’s are at jobs where I can’t get away with not wearing one.

97)However, I think women should wear bras if they feel like it, and if it is comfortable for them. I’m small breasted, so it is not an issue for me. My sister is a G, she’s not comfortable without a bra.

98)I love to cook, and to bake.

99)I really like boardgames
